Honey tasting - Mary Jane

Today in Room 10 we got to try different types of honey for me personly I do not like honey at all but I thought that it would be fun to try the different honey what was fun about this was that it was like a gussing game where you had to try finger out what the corect honey was.
Here are some of the different honeys,
1 . Mixed
           2 .  Clover
         3 . Pohutakawa
    4 . Manuka

I got 2 of my answers wrong because the smell, smellet like it would be somethinng else but I did enjoy the taste testing because I did get to do it with my friends and it was funny because two of my friends liked the honey and me and another friend disliked the honey.
Here are some photos from the honey testing.

Today I have finished a very meaningful presentation which repersents the soilders that have died in war and that have been hurt badly, this is a very meaningful poem for those who have lost familys in the war I think this poem is very nice because of the meaning it has for those who did lose there familys and things like that.

Mary Jane - Toku Whare Tapa Wha

Today in room 9 and 10 we did something called Toku whare tapa wha which is your different healths or well beings, at the start we have to compare ourselves to a house I chose two because for me I have two sides.
The first Toku whare tapa wha is Physical health which is like running and fitness, The second health is mental health which is things like emoctions and stuff with your brain, The third health is soical relationships health which are things like friends and family, The last one is spiritual / sould health which somepeople like to be spiritual with interacting with nature or going to cruch, the last slide is what I would like to look after working on these I have also added in some photos to show what some of them mean.

Today in room 10 we learned how to use a compass to make poppies I learned that the middle of the poppie is a lot harder than the big one that was the hardest thing for me doing this activtie,

WALT - Use a compass to draw different shapes.

I really enjoyed this because people around me helped me and I helped them and just in jenral I liked it because I learnt how to use a compass which will help me a lot in the future with maths and high school because I have heard you need a compass, another thing I enjoyed was interacting with some people I dont usual hang out with.

Here are some photos of us using a compass for our poppies.
