Cricket Reflection

A few days ago Tamaki Primary school year 7 and 8's got to play cricket, home group 2 went first to play cricket, I am in home group one and we went last while the other group went to tennis, I thought cricket was fun but not fun because I didn't want to play and also because I don't really know how to play.

Everything you guys need to know is up the top, I thought that cricket was interesting because as I said I don't really play cricket but I do find that I will probably like playing cricket because I thought the same thing about soft ball.

Kiwi Sports Reflection

Today year 7 and 8's got to do some more kiwi sports it is now our second lesson on how to play tennis, this time when we played kiwi sport I really tried and it was really fun because we got to play actual rounds and it was so long and so fun because it wasn't like when we first played where we just only hit the ball once or twice and things like that it was like an actual round and things like that.

I really enjoyed this and as you see at the top there is a reflection on the things we did and on the things we learnt and I learnt so much today and also on that DLO it explains what I like and things I did well and also the things I need to work on so kind of like a goal for next time and things like that I hope you enjoy my reflection.

Swimming Expectations For Tommorow

Tomorrow Tamaki Primary will be going to the local public pool for some fun activities and swimming time, This will be our first water active/trip for 2018 I am very excited to go to the pools tomorrow I really hope its not raining because I really really want to go swimming with my friends and class mates and I want to have an amazing time tomorrow.

As you can tell by the title it says swimming expectations and on that DLO or google drawing it has all the swimming expectations and things like that and it also explains why these all should be shown and if we follow all these rules and expectations we will have a fun amazing day. I hope that tomorrow everyone has fun and no one gets in trouble.

Technology Lesson 2

Comparing 2 different phone stand and phone cases so we can find out what type or kind we would like, Theses phone cases will be made out of ABS plastic and we will also be using a 3D printer if we would like to, I enjoyed this because it was educational and very fun at the same time because I got to form an idea of what I want my project, item or phone stand to look like.

In this lesson I learnt how to compare to objects that were the same but made with different materials and things like that and I also got to find out what type of phone stands my friends and peers liked and what they thought of mine, I also learnt what ABS is and it is a type of plastic and I also learnt that it is easy comparing to different materials because as you see at the top there's a wood phone stand and a metal phone stand, read the top drawing/comparison to read and see what I have done at technology.

Mary Jane - Graphics Lesson 1

Today the year 7 and 8's went to technology for the first time this year, it is very new to the new year 7 and I think they really enjoyed it and I enjoyed it myself as well one thing I have to say is that this is. Today we did a google drawing about ourselves and the things we enjoyed/liked .
We learned about how to make our backgrounds transparent and things like that by writing in png and another thing we learnt today was how to make collages obviously its not very hard by it was very fun to do because  I got to see what my friends were doing and they get to see what I like and things like.
As you can see in the drawing we got to make an avatar if we didn't want to take a photo of ourselves and there is mine right there its not the best but I tried my best to make it look the same.
And in the next section we will be learning how to make a phone stand.

Mary Jane - Attitude Lesson 1

Last week the Room 9 and 10 had an attitude lesson with Tony, attitude is a program to teach young kids things such as how to have healthy relationships and so kids can know who they are and things like that they also teach much much more and its an amazing program because they share funny stories and play games.

In this attitude lesson we were learning who we are from our personality to our genes in our blood and I thought that this was very interesting because I am a beaver which is when you want to do things at the start.
Continue reading the DLO at the top to learn about attitude and to find out what I learnt.

School Values - My Goals

Today Room 9 and 10 of 2018 did their school value goals which is Whanaungatanga, Ako, Manaakitanga, Tukumarie and Rangimarie these are all very important keys in life and should be shown consistently in your life in and out of school, The reason these values are important is because these form what character or person you are.

My goals are featured at the top in the DLO (digital learning object) with many different photos the reason why I have picked the goals are also listed in the top of the DLO as well I would like to make these goals work and if so last the who year so my last year at Tamaki Primary is amazing, fun and drama free.

I think that these goals should be used in everyone's everyday life because you wouldn't be liked and no one would want to trust you and just because it forms who you are as a person as a human as I said before and I think that's something extremely important considering I almost use these every single day and they form who I am.

I hope you enjoy my blog post and I hope everyone has a fun first week of school for 2018 and I hope you enjoyed my first blog post of 2018.
