Mai Fm T3W9
Today we had a Duffy role model assembly. Our role models were Nate and Lilly from Mai Fm morning show. Two key messages I learned were that how Lilly said reading can help you to think of and find a dream job and how Nate said reading and traveling helps you to learn about other cultures and places.
I admired Lilly because she had read 100 books and read the Harry Potter series 3 times It was a wonderful assembly

Adam in Room 9
Today we had Adam from Sommerville come and join us for Art! We were making shark art, after reading "The Great White Man-Eating Shark" by Margaret Mahy. Adam really enjoyed doing Art with us. He was going to stay for five minutes but he ended up staying for half an hour!
We loved having Adam with us. He is now part of or Room 9 family.
